A wedding and some baseball in Minnesota

We took a whirlwind trip back to Minnesota for the wedding of Matt's cousin.  We had a BLAST.
***

(PS - Flying in the morning is the new way to go with a toddler... he surprisingly was quite the non-wild-beast on the flight there Saturday morning!  And the TVs in the back of the seats on Frontier didn't hurt either...)

Aunt Emma and Mimi came to pick us up - you can't quite see the nice bright red mark on the center of Benjamin's forehead from a serious face plant he took in the airport while doing spins in the terminal... he was just soo excited to be in MN!

After showering and changing at Mimi and Papa's house, we headed up to the wedding!  Matt and Sara were doing music (which was beautiful), the ceremony was lovely, and Benjamin didn't cause too much of a scene thanks to the baby-cry-room in the back of the chapel!  Congratulations to Erik and Angela!!

Benjamin loved the noise makers as we got ready to head to the reception!

Some cute Larson men:

We got to the farm for the reception, and Benjamin surprisingly went right to sleep in one of the guest rooms.  He snoozed for hours and missed quite a bit!  But Mimi was so nice to check on him the whole time, so Matt and I got to enjoy catching up with cousins and family.  It was a beautiful day!

Oh, and it was SOOOOO hot!

Sweet Kelsey!

Papa Bear and his boys!

The Larson siblings

cousins!

And I did a pretend photoshoot with E & D (this is just one of many pictures, hehe):

Benjamin liked all the animals but never wanted to get too close...

But he LOVED the tractor!

And felt "ok" about dancing... (it was bedtime after all!)

But we LOVED dancing and danced the night away!

Can you tell we had a great time??

Back at Mimi and Papa's on Sunday, Benjamin played some trucks with Uncle David:

And then we went to the Twins game!  Matt's favorite thing to do, of course!

How cute are these baseball-loving boys/twins?

And that night we had a nice dinner at Suzie and Steve's with the family!

Monday morning we got a visit from Great Grandma Bev and Great Grandpa Jack, and Benjamin was so excited he carried both Sammies around...

They all went to the zoo for the morning while I got to hang out with Suzie!

And then we had to say some goodbyes... :(

And say hi and goodbye to Emma and Aunt Cindy!

Stealing Papa Bear's chair!

Then off we went...
saying goodbye at the airport...

preparing for the flight... get a full tummy!

Yet another wonderful trip to Minnesota.  We're so blessed to have such wonderful family.  It was SO great seeing everyone and catching up (and laughing lots!!).
