14 months

This big boy turned 14 months old yesterday. What?!?

In addition to all the awesomely big boy things he does these days (understands directions, tells you what animals say - even the "raaaawr" of a lion, points to his nose when you ask, says "baby" when he looks at pictures of kids or himself, puts the baseball on the t-ball stand and tries to hit it with a bat, signs "more", "food", and "all done", "kicks" a soccer ball around, opens the cupboard to pull out cereal and crackers when he's hungry for a snack, points out animals on command while we read), he also knows how to use his powers for "evil".  :)  This little wise-guy already knows how to manipulate us for certain foods, how to run away if he doesn't want to do what we're asking, how to get us to pick him up, how to throw any-and-everything to get the point across that he is M.A.D. (including food from inside his mouth).  The plague didn't help his attitude much and seemed to only make him whinier and clingier unfortunately, so we're now trying to plow through the temper tantrums to get our bright, bubbly, social boy back.

Just wanted to jot this down so I don't forget how fun, spunky, and slightly crazy this little boy is these days.  We sure do love him, whiny tantrums and all!  :-)

look mom, i climbed up here!

haha - i pulled my pants down!
