Visitors in November

Once again, I'm on the late train.  I can't seem to keep up!  I haven't even gotten to share yet about the insane changes going on around here... and frankly, it's 8pm, and I'm ready for bed.  So... that'll have to wait.

For now, I am trying to keep up a tad... and wanted to share some pics from our visitors at the beginning of the month!

We were lucky enough to have Auntie Emma in town for a few days - just long enough for Benjamin to start saying "Auntie Emma" all the time!  (He still says it all the time - thinking maybe someday she'll finally be back to play again) :)   It was SO great having her here.  Plenty more to say on that, but suffice it to say I try to get her and David to move here all the time, so they don't need any more of my cajoling via blog.

drinks and lunch at Pinche Taco... yum
And lucky us - Bryan stayed with us for a night that weekend as well!  We may or may not have started happy hour at our house at about 4pm.  With pre-mixed margaritas.  Yep.  A far cry from our swanky lounge/bar days in DC... Sorry B - that's how we roll around here! ;)  We enjoyed a great dinner together and even played a little Heads Up that night before bed.  Can't beat it.  (Benjamin was happy as a clam with all the love!)

Best picture of the weekend: CHEERS!

Enjoying a Sunday brunch at Punch Bowl in our old neighborhood:

taking a stroll along the Platte River downtown after visiting REI...

Checking out the giant bear on the 16th Street Mall...

Oh - AND, that same weekend, we got to sneak away to see the Book of Mormon with my folks (a Christmas present from last year or something fun) :)  It was HYSTERICAL (albeit extremely politically incorrect and downright offensive if you happen to be Mormon...).  And who doesn't love getting to see a show every now and then.  Lucky us, for sure!

wine with a straw/lid = classy
