Auntie Sara Came To Town

A few weeks ago now (oops), sweet Auntie Sara came to visit, and we had a blast!  I was so thankful for the extra hands (as always), and I know Benjamin was over the moon to have another fun aunt here to play with him.  She was such a trooper and up for playing any crazy game Benjamin could concoct.  We're so glad she could make it out (and even more glad that we'll see her and the rest of the Larson fam again in December for a fun mountain getaway!!). :)

Here are some of the haps:

Sara arrived Saturday around lunch time, just in time to meet Avery before we had to whisk ourselves away to a wedding in Boulder County.  Sara was nice enough to watch Benjamin that night, and I think they had a ball :)

This was the wedding of a grad school classmate of mine, and we taught together last year! It was on a gorgeous farm just north of Boulder.

Sunday morning we decided to try out brunch at the JW as we've heard it's fun for kiddos (they eat free if they're in their PJs and there's a little "play" area complete with candy... ha!).

Sunday afternoon we stopped by a neighbor-buddy's birthday party (Emerson turned 2!), and Sara got to meet many of our wonderful neighbors and their kiddos.  We're so lucky to live where we do!

Monday morning we went to the zoo while Matt was at work!  Sara was a great sport doing all the things Benjamin asked of her :)

This part was hilarious - right now Benjamin likes to make everything into a train of some sort... so he saw this bench and told Sara they would take turns being the conductor.  The video below is priceless. :)

And after naptime, we headed to Boulder to enjoy some beer at AVERY Brewing! It doesn't hurt that our little girl shares a name with an awesome brewery - they even gave us a discount on an Avery onesie because of it :)

Next visitor?  MIMI!  She's coming on Sunday to hang out and lend a hand once again.  Have I mentioned how much we love her!! :)
