Urban Farm Fest

There's a cool non-profit just to the east of us that runs an urban farm to provide agricultural and environmental education to urban youth.  It's pretty awesome! They had their annual fundraiser last weekend, so we took advantage of the nice weather and dragged my sister along too :)

It was a fun little fall festival complete with animals, hay rides, live music, face painting, and of course a bouncy house ;) The line for pony rides was a bit too long for us, so we stuck to some of the more basic (i.e. quick) activities.  It was 80 degrees for crying out loud, and most of us were overdressed!
