You are TEN months old this month, and I can't even believe that means we are only a mere two months from you turning one. In so many ways this year has FLOWN by. Some moments (or minutes) seemed to last lifetimes, but looking back now, I honestly can't even believe how fast it's gone. Yikes!
At this month's CF appointment, we heard some great things! You're growing really really well (hooray!!), so our job is to just keep pumping you full of fats/proteins since your body doesn't absorb them all that well (Mimi just helped us stock up on some homemade mixes of fruit/veggies chock full of flaxseed, coconut oil, butter, yogurt, chia seeds, etc... so we've got lots of snacks/meals on the ready!). They increased your enzyme levels, so now you're taking some before each bottle and before each snack - about 18-22 pills a day. You got a bigger percussor for your CPT (which you don't really like yet), and they said you're looking great! We even got to keep you off antibiotics last month despite having a cold. That was great because you really hate antibiotics :) This was how happy you were after the appointment when we stopped for a drink to celebrate the good news:
At your next appointment, they'll be doing a chest x-ray and some other tests to check out how you're body is doing. It'll be good to see how that goes. It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but we're praying for the best it can be.
Your pill bottle for this month is GINORMOUS. These pics don't even do it justice... it's bigger than your head! And this is only a 28-30 day supply!
Other things about you this past month:
* You finally started to scoot backwards a little! No real crawling, but I saw backwards scooting is a huge step "forward" in my book!
* You sleep GREAT! We put you down with Benjamin, you two chat a little and then fall right to sleep (most nights). Talk about a blessing for us! You don't wake up til 7/7:30am!
* You LOVE to clap. You're very proud of yourself and always clap when you think you've done something special. Which is anything really.
* You love to eat by yourself. It's so fun to watch you become more independent. You mostly love fruit (you'll eat strawberries and blueberries all day if I let you!), but you're starting to branch out more :)
* You love to read with your brother and even love helping to turn pages.
* You love to reach for our faces and scratch us - we call you "Mean Little Cat" when you do. It's not very nice!
* You officially rolled onto your tummy this month! You only do it when you're sleeping, but more often than not, we're finding you like to sleep on your tummy. You'll never roll in front of us, but at least we know you do it.
* You still only have two teeth :) I keep wondering when the next ones will arrive, but it looks like it might be two fang top teeth... we'll see!

And last month was your very first Great Strides Walk for the CF Foundation. I'll be doing an entire post on that shortly because it was such an amazing and emotional day, but here are a few pictures! You are SO loved and supported in this fight.
You love to eat big-kid food these days, which is nice because it gives you something to do when you're squawking loudly during CHURCH. This is where we spent the whole service:

In general, you're just starting to seem like a happier kiddo. :)

You love to eat almost anything, especially some of Benjamin's Mac and Cheese! (Well, that's not true, you actually are pretty picky... you mostly love fruit)
Guess what? You like one more person finally. Auntie Kari! :) So the list of people you like includes: Mom, Dad, Benjamin, Mimi, Kari, and occasionally Dara.
You like having a buddy so close in age (who already out-moves you) :) Hopefully you're paying close attention to her moves, cuz she's crawling!!!
