ACK! LIFE!

I haven't posted in almost four months, which seems about right since I feel like my life is just one chaotic day after another. Does that feeling ever end?? Some days I feel so terrible that I parent with things like lollipops, fruit snacks, and TV as bribes. And some days I'm thankful that I do.  There's a lot of yelling in our house, a lot of tears, a lot of frustrations... but I try to remind myself that there is also a lot of laughter, dancing, and hugs. I'm far, far from the perfect mom. Sometimes I wonder if I'm even good at all! But we're making it through, one day at a time (sometimes not every day).

At any rate, these past few months have been pretty crazy. I need to go through some photos and update our happenings here, because I do so love to look through this blog years later to see where we've been and how far we've come. And to remind myself that we got through it.

So, in the coming weeks, I plan to post about my visit to DC for a CF conference, our annual trek to Palm Desert, my girls weekend in Vegas, the CF Walk, Benjamin's continuation and end of the school year, Avery's bronchoscopy and CT scan, getting the VEST, the kids' first camping trip, etc. I mean, so much to remember (and a lot to forget).

For now, here we are, a regular/nightly occurrence in our house. Avery doing her treatment, Benjamin playing on the iPad, and Mom and Dad putzing in between (we don't usually look this happy) ;)
