Halloween

Yes, Halloween was quite some time ago.  But I've been using this little blog to keep track of our "life" these days, so I didn't want me-in-the-future to think that we didn't do anything for Benjamin's first Halloween!  Slowly I'll get caught up to today at some point...

At any rate, we had been in our house all of 48 hours when trick-or-treaters started arriving at our door.  Despite the boxes everywhere and the million things on my mind that needed to get done, we took a little break to enjoy the special moment in our new, wonderful home.  The day turned out great having spent some of the afternoon at Matt's office where they had a great little Mario Kart racetrack put together for the kiddos to trick-or-treat.  Benjamin basically just meandered around looking super cute in his garage-sale cow costume (which we purchased randomly in May, and turned out to fit just right!). That evening we headed over to some new neighbors' house for a little neighborhood party, and it was so wonderful to feel so welcomed by everyone.  Our street was FULL of adorable kids in awesome costumes, the neighbors were exceptionally kind, and we even got a beautiful sunset in the middle of it all :)  Halloween number one for Mr. BWL was quite a success!
