January Photo Dump

Ok, so since I'm lazy but really do love having this blog to look back at the things we've been up to year-to-year (I look back at old posts for smiles more than I probably should and KICK myself for not doing the same thing when I lived in DC and got to do things I'll never do again!), I'm going to do a huge phone photo dump post for both January and February. There's just too much to go back and blog about, but it was a super busy few months! So here are a gagillion photos from January (other than ones I already posted about like Avery's surgery or Benjamin's birthday, of course). :)

***

A visit with the awesome Hall Family... we got a special little performance by Tea For Three (Matt's "band" in college) :) Even cuter seeing these guys with their sons playing along!

Benjamin's great Aunt and Uncle (Suzie & Steve, the best!!) got Benjamin some soccer classes for Christmas, so he started these in January! He LOVES it and has seriously gotten better (even though they don't actually play much soccer) :)

We went to Matt's work holiday party at the Med in Boulder (and spent the night at the Kozlowskis' afterward)... apparently this was the only picture I took.

We cheered on the Broncos (unsuccessfully...):

I joined OrangeTheory for a few months and got my butt kicked...

Benjamin took up a love of dressing up in costume...

I chopped off a LOT of hair and went a little lighter.

We visited the zoo during a warm day (we had lots of warm days, thankfully!).

We took part in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Marade, which was awesome. It was so fun to tell Benjamin about this amazing man and to march in support of his vision for a better world. I had tears in my eyes at various points throughout the morning. Such an awesome community experience.

oh look, there's Senator Cory Gardner! It was so packed, so we could only yell hello to each other

These two took a nap during the long march...

Enjoying beers at a new brewery with some friends in the neighborhood.  Who doesn't love seeing dads with their daughters?!

Another visit to the zoo with some buddies on yet another warm day.

We met up with some fellow biker friends on the way home from the park (yes, we forgot a helmet on this day... don't judge!).

Soccer...

This is a short video from one of his first classes... you'd be happy to know he doesn't usually use his hands anymore :)

An awesome neighbor friend watched the kiddos one evening so Matt and I could enjoy a nice dinner out celebrating his new job! (Yum, Osteria Marco, an old stand-by)

And to finish the month out we got to spend some time with Suzie and Steve on their way to Palm Desert. It was so fun to see them!!  They stayed the night and woke up to almost a foot of snow (which none of us were expecting!).

A cute new hat that Suzie brought back from Sweden.

Do you want to build a snowman?
