A visit with the awesome Hall Family... we got a special little performance by Tea For Three (Matt's "band" in college) :) Even cuter seeing these guys with their sons playing along!
Benjamin's great Aunt and Uncle (Suzie & Steve, the best!!) got Benjamin some soccer classes for Christmas, so he started these in January! He LOVES it and has seriously gotten better (even though they don't actually play much soccer) :)
We cheered on the Broncos (unsuccessfully...):
I joined OrangeTheory for a few months and got my butt kicked...
Benjamin took up a love of dressing up in costume...
I chopped off a LOT of hair and went a little lighter.
We visited the zoo during a warm day (we had lots of warm days, thankfully!).
We took part in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Marade, which was awesome. It was so fun to tell Benjamin about this amazing man and to march in support of his vision for a better world. I had tears in my eyes at various points throughout the morning. Such an awesome community experience.
oh look, there's Senator Cory Gardner! It was so packed, so we could only yell hello to each other |
These two took a nap during the long march...
Enjoying beers at a new brewery with some friends in the neighborhood. Who doesn't love seeing dads with their daughters?!
This is a short video from one of his first classes... you'd be happy to know he doesn't usually use his hands anymore :)
An awesome neighbor friend watched the kiddos one evening so Matt and I could enjoy a nice dinner out celebrating his new job! (Yum, Osteria Marco, an old stand-by)
A cute new hat that Suzie brought back from Sweden.
Do you want to build a snowman?
