Christmas Part I!

Christmas time has come and gone, but it was another fun one, especially since Avery's getting older and is so interested in things like unwrapping presents and playing with toys/boxes/paper. :)

(First, a few pics from decorating the tree back at the end of November):

We did a Monroe Christmas dinner at my parents' place a few days before we left for Minnesota, and the kiddos got some toys they LOVE and had a hard time parting with for our trip!

I got to sneak in a few drinks with some friends for my birthday! We met up at Union Station, and it was a nice break from the busy at home! (Oh boy, I'm 35!)

Christmas Eve, we had a nice family dinner...

And Benjamin left cookies out for Santa!

We also opened a few presents before Santa came that night! :)

Benjamin got one of my OLD point and shoot cameras that had been collecting dust in the basement (shhh...he doesn't know that!), and these are some of the pictures he took:
