Visit from Mimi & Papa Bear

Matt's parents came out this past week and spoiled the Larson home!  Bejamin was grateful for the time with his Mimi and Papa (who we now call Papa Bear since his name his Barry - cute, huh??), and Matt and I were grateful for all the help around the house.  We barely had to lift a finger :)  The week was full of lots of cuddles with Benjamin, sprinkled with them helping us with cleaning, cooking, and you name it.  Mimi even left a few meals in our freezer for the future!

Some pictures of time with the grandparents:

Papa Bear cleaning our front window (one of many things they did for us!):

Making some breakfast (along with every other meal that week!):

Sewing (Pam was nice enough to bring out her sewing gear and make pillows out of some fun fabric I had purchased awhile ago at our local craft store.  We love the new couch decor and the cute new purple pillow on our bed!):

Who doesn't love giving BW a bath?  So fun!

Papa Bear did a little "light" reading with Benjamin (Moby Dick):

On Wednesday of last week, Matt played at the Empire with the Jam Knights once again.  It was Benjamin's first time seeing dad at work!  We had a great time, and Benjamin even got to meet a few new friends :)

I love these last pictures of Benjamin and the band!

Here's a snippet from one of the songs my sister, Matt, and my dad did in tribute to Whitney Houston (with no practice, as you may be able to tell) :)

And this video is so sweet - Benjamin's hanging out while dad is doing a little viola solo in the background!

It was a terrific week with the Minnesota grandparents.  We'll be seeing them briefly on their layover at DIA next month, and I know Benjamin is already looking forward to it!

 Saying farewell:
